Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Instruments for band come with stock mouthpieces that are good for learning basic skills in beginning band. Our students are playing in the intermediate and advanced band at the high school as well as the marching band. They need higher quality mouthpieces to play with their best sound individually and in the large group.

This project will provide two trumpet mouthpieces and two clarinet mouthpieces with ligatures to hold the reeds on.

Everyone who uses the mouthpieces will get better results from their practice time. The students who are playing side by side with these musicians will have a better ability to blend and make music with their peers.

Our kids really look forward to playing and performing together both at school and in the community. Thanks for considering our project to give them great mouthpieces to use with their instruments!
