This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a Health and Physical Education Teacher and it is my job to show my students creative ways to stay healthy and physically fit. Along with Donors Choose help, I can give them nutritious snacks that will give them the essential nutrients needed for good health. I use my own money to go to the grocery store to buy granola and protein bars. I use the bars and incentives and rewards for student accomplishments. Thank you in advance for your time and support.

My Project

A healthy mind, body and soul is a productive, positive student. My students are learning that your food should be your medicine. They are learning that most prescription medicines have very little natural ingredients or essential nutrients in them. So it's my job to inform them that natural medicines come from the earth, therefore what you eat can either help you or harm. We consume too much process foods that cause a lot of mucous and disease and we can reverse some illnesses by changing our diet. Raw natural foods should be the first chose. Fruit, Vegetables, Protein, Grain, and Dairy.
