My Project

In Florida, our 7th grade civics students prepare all year to take a state end of course exam worth 33% of their final grade. My students are 12 and 13 years old. This is a lot of pressure to place on a young person. Many of my students have learning exceptionalities or are English Language Learners.

The Nabisco, Lance, Barnum and Life Saver treats will be used as rewards and incentives for students who are willing to stay after school for tutoring.

These snacks are used to keep students motivated after a long day of school. When they come to my room for help they need a snack to keep working hard.
