My Students

Our school is an exceptional Title I school with exceptional students. Their motivation to push themselves to gain as much knowledge as possible is inspiring. We are a small town in Louisiana. Like most schools, we feel the struggle of not having the funds that could help get our students to the next level, boost their interests, and keep them involved in a fun way.

Our school is composed of Pre-K through 5th-grade students.

We have 100% free breakfast and lunch. My students are preparing to be successful in a technology-driven society. They have goals, dreams, and aspirations for this school year. I know that they can accomplish anything, but it is my hope to make sure they have all the needed resources to do that!

My Project

It is getting closer to the end of the year and teachers are constantly trying to find ways to keep students positively motivated. The chips, fidget toys, and squish toys are all items my students love. Having these items in the treasure box will help give them the extra push to keep them motivated to stay focused on their objectives that will help them be successful on the LEAP test.

Printed materials are so important in a classroom with students with educational gaps.

Sometimes I have to change my lesson at a moment's notice to match the needs of my students. Having the ability to provide these materials for my students can make a huge difference in their educational life.
