Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are resilient leaders that our world needs today. They believe in the beauty of hard-work and perseverance, and through their admirable characteristics, they always bring 100% to school everyday! They've overcome Hurricane Harvey, the recent Texas Winter Storm, and continue to put their best foot forward every day to get the education they deserve- all while doing this virtually and in-person.

My students already come from Houston's most under-served communities, but they don't let this barricade them from their dreams and goals.

My Project

My students work extremely hard and enjoy our review games because they have the opportunity to receive a prize.

They always look forward to receiving a prize from our classroom treasure box when we play games like Kahoot, Trivia Review, and so forth.

With your help, they will be able to win galaxy pencils, Rubik's cubes, bookmarks, and other fun prizes that I am requesting. I am also asking for bandaids as we are currently running low, and we will need them as we continue this last semester. This will all bring joy to our classroom.
