My Project

Students typically visit my classroom for daily reading intervention sessions, but with inclusion, I also push in to regular classrooms to deliver instruction. While this approach offers numerous advantages, it can present challenges for both the students and myself. Transporting essential resources such as hands-on manipulatives, books, writing tools, and a whiteboard for the lesson and the ability to model phonetic and writing skills can prove cumbersome. Despite my students' eagerness to begin each lesson, the setup process can test everyone's patience.

A "Store it All Teaching Center" would revolutionize my instructional transitions, ensuring seamless movement between rooms while equipping me with all necessary resources to deliver high-quality instruction tailored to my students' needs.

As a reading interventionist, organization and access to essential teaching tools are paramount for delivering effective individualized lessons that bolster students' foundational literacy skills in a timely manner. Such a teacher center would eliminate the hassle of packing and unpacking resources and setting up in unfamiliar spaces, allowing me to focus more energy on facilitating meaningful learning experiences.
