Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am currently enrolled in 300 hours of yoga training. The training is for teachers to support students who have limited abilities and/or limited learning space.

My students will benefit from this training because all lessons are taught by Breathe For Change using the TEACH (trauma-informed, equitable, accessible, community based, healing centered) framework.

My focus for this training is to learn how to better support my students as they practice yoga which is beneficial to their health and mental wellness. This project includes suggested readings and a yoga training chair.
