My Students

The students this project will benefit are from our Beginning Band, Concert Band, and beginning level drumming course.

The students in these classes are an absolute blast to teach.

They come from all different backgrounds, and a wide range of skill levels, but they are overwhelmingly excited about learning how to play music.

The bands put on several performances throughout the year, including concerts, parades, and festivals. Both levels of band have achieved superior rankings at festival and perform at a very high level.

The drumming elective students are almost all beginners in the world of music. We hope their experience in this class enriches their lives with a deeper appreciation of music, and maybe even inspires some of them to explore music more seriously down the road.

My Project

Percussionists in band and percussion ensemble often have to switch between different types of mallets, sticks, and instruments.

A proper trap table stand allows students to transition smoothly and quietly between various implements as they perform.

With this project, our percussionists in band will be able to use these products in rehearsals and in concerts, and practice transitions the way a professional would.

For our beginning percussion class, we can introduce our beginners to music that requires them to transition between different implements and experience a wide variety of music.
