This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Teaching in a predominately hispanic school is hard when English is the only language that you speak. As a teacher, it is my goal to help my students the best way I can, but, when my students do not speak the same language as me that becomes a challenge. I do the best that I can with google translate, but, when you have many students that need the help, it becomes a bit overwhelming.

I do have students in my class that can help translate but I do not want to always burden them with that task.

With the translation devices I will be able to effectively communicate with all of my students.
