My Project

My students are third and fourth graders who come to our classroom for specialized instruction in core academic areas. Many of my students have difficulty focusing on work. I strive to create a calming classroom where they are not overstimulated and are surrounded by peaceful decor.

A calm classroom provides a sanctuary where students with unique learning needs can find the peace they need to focus, learn, and thrive.

In this tranquil environment, their minds can flourish, free from distractions, allowing their unique talents and abilities to shine..

We are moving classrooms for the new school year. The classroom I am moving to is older, with vintage chalkboards lining the walls. I use wall space to display motivational posters and anchor charts. I am requesting felt squares and muted bulletin board paper that will provide the backdrop needed to create a peaceful, serene environment for my exceptional students.
