This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These assets will make a significant difference in my students' learning by creating an adaptable and comfortable environment that promotes engagement and motivation. Research has shown that flexible seating contributes to better academic performance and behavior​​. Moreover, giving students the freedom to choose their seating can reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, making the classroom a more welcoming and inclusive space​​.

By providing flexible seating options, I aim to foster a student-centered environment that supports and encourages collaboration and creativity.

This approach not only helps students stay focused and engaged but also empowers them to take responsibility for their learning and make choices that best suit their needs​​.

What makes my students special is their resilience and enthusiasm for learning despite the challenges they face. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences to our classroom. Their adaptability and eagerness to embrace new opportunities are truly inspiring. By creating a more flexible and engaging learning environment, I hope to support their academic growth and help them realize their full potential.
