My Students
My students are an amazing group of enthusiastic learners. My PE class is filled with creativity and motion at all times. In order to foster growth and advancement, my class needs training parachutes to increase their fitness levels.
Students will explore fitness levels and increase stamina with parachutes.
My students are an energetic group that likes fun and challenging activities. The students are a group of diverse 6th, 7th & 8th graders from a suburban Middle School containing approximately 970 students.
My Project
Parachute play and training is a great way to promote teamwork in middle schoolers. There is also a lot of health benefits of parachute play.
The benefits of parachute play and training are many.
It encourages cooperation and non-competitive play, Differing abilites are a non issue! Parachute play also refines perceptual skills and reinforces turn-taking and sharing. It also helps develop a sense of rhythm and promotes social interaction.
Parachute play requires following directions and spending time and working together with classmates. Many fun games can be created like: Popcorn, Ball Roll, Making Waves, Merry-Go-Round and Parachute Tag...just to name a few!!
