My Project

Our students are drawn to real stories about people who used curiosity, creativity, and determination to make a difference. This collection of biographies will introduce them to change makers in science, sports, and the arts - people like Jerry Lawson, who revolutionized video games, and Katherine Johnson, whose calculations helped launch astronauts into space. Through these stories, students will see how perseverance and imagination can overcome even the toughest challenges.

By adding new and diverse biographies to our library, students will find role models who reflect the world around them.

Many of these books highlight women and people of color who made lasting contributions, and several are available in Spanish to support bilingual readers. These inspiring true stories will motivate students to explore their own potential and remind them that no dream is out of reach.
