This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have just survived a pandemic and for many, two years of remote learning. In addition, I have students who are new to the country and do not speak English.

Most of my students are struggling academically and emotionally.

They are 6th grade students who have not been in school regularly for almost two years.

My Project

This school year, my students are at many more academic levels than in past years. In addition, I have one class of students who are brand new to the United States and do not speak or read English. I am constantly looking for resources to meet the needs of all of my learners. I am constantly purchasing items on Teachers Pay Teachers that are differentiated and translated. I do not have the time nor the knowledge to translate resources and or to make them multi-level. I have found that TPT offers fabulous resources I can use with my students.
