This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! As the school year continues, I'm seeing the play needs of our students. I included toys and activities to help with different skills.

These toys offer fun play opportunities.

For example, The puppet I added is unique in that there's a stomach for it. My plan is to use different small items around my therapy room for the dragon to eat. This dragon will also pair well with one of my favorite books The Paper Bag Princess. The balloon zoom activity will encourage movement as we work on early vocabulary words for directing the adult/child to release the car. The sensory toys and slice-and-bake cookie set will allow me to get more trials for practicing words/phrases for articulation.
