Lexington, SC Grades PreK-2

My Project

I am always looking for ways to make STEM more relevant and hands-on. I want to provide my students with the opportunity to develop both creative and critical thinking skills through real-life, tactile learning opportunities. Adding 3D printers to our STEM/Coding lab would provide my students with innovative materials allowing them to see the connections across science, technology, engineering, and math.

3D printers will give all 900 + Pre-K-5th grade students the opportunity to learn and grow throughout this school year as well as many more to come.

3D printers will help our students address the nature of science and social studies standards. Students will engage in multidisciplinary thinking as they participate in conversations not just around science and social studies, but with computer science, literacy, and math as well. The possibilities are endless with 3D printers!

The ToyBox 3D printer will provide all Pre-K-5th grade students with the opportunity to problem solve, and visualize through both individual and collaborative activities all year long. Thank you in advance for supporting our STEM/Coding Lab.
