My Project

The beads, Legos, and art items that are listed in this project will make a difference in students' learning by having equal opportunity for all students regardless of their family, cultural, and socioeconomic status. During guidance, we will learn social-emotional lessons and in the last 15 minutes of class, students from kindergarten to second grade will have the opportunity to explore their strengths and weaknesses.

The goal for this project is for students to practice social skills and art as a proactive strategy when behavior arises.

The toy station will help students practice social skills by working together to build the Lego structure. On the other hand, the art section will help students to calm down by letting go of their negative thoughts through painting and redirecting them from negative to positive mindset through bracelet making.

What makes my students special is their passion, dedication, and smiles when attending my guidance class. It makes a difference when students remember your lesson and then apply it in the outside world. These students in a Title I school are special and will always have a place in my heart.
