Your generosity provided us with so many essential items that help our classroom run smoothly every single day and set my students up for success this school year.\r\n\r\nWhen all the boxes arrived, the kids were so excited to see what came inside. Before we received these supplies, keeping our learning materials organized and making sure everything stayed in good shape was a daily struggle. So much of our learning happens in hands-on stations and small groups, and having the right tools to keep our papers, activity cards, and art supplies in order makes the world of a difference for six- and seven-year-olds!\r\n\r\nThe colorful storage bins and desk baskets have been amazing for helping the kids keep our work areas organized. They know right where to find their supplies and can quickly grab what they need for group work. The small clear photo cases have also been fantastic for our reading and math centers—they hold all of our mini flashcards, matching games, and task cards so nothing gets lost under the desks. Seeing my first graders take so much pride in grabbing their own materials and putting everything away when they are done has been wonderful.\r\n\r\nWe also received sheet protectors, heavy-duty poly zip ticket holders, and zip bags, which have saved so much of our paper and activity pieces. My students love placing their worksheets inside the clear ticket holders and using dry-erase markers to practice their writing and math problems over and over again. When it is time to switch activities, the plastic zip bags keep all our small game pieces safely together so we don't lose precious learning time searching for missing parts.\r\n\r\nBehind the scenes, the clear file boxes and hanging folders have helped me keep all of our student portfolios, work samples, and assessment charts neatly sorted. Having everything filed away nicely makes it so much easier for me to track student growth and plan lessons that meet each child's needs.\r\n\r\nTo top it all off, reading The Wonderful Things You Will Be together on the rug was such a special moment for our class.
