My Students
My students are amazing! They come to my classroom for their intensive reading course during their day in middle school . The students in my class come in to the classroom each day eager and ready to work although reading is not their first choice in academics.
My students love our school and are excited to be here each day.
Our school has had to make many changes due to Hurricane Irma, but these students have adapted well and continue to work hard despite the obstacles. I love hearing the positive attitudes and encouraging words that my students give each day.
My Project
This project is being created to help our middle school football team. Our team is coached by a community volunteer who has a heart for these kids. Our school has allowed another local middle school to participate in our football program and therefore supplies are limited. Our football program is in need of more equipment to help practices run smoothly and give more kids a chance to have their hands on a ball. Football is something that many of our kids in our school live for. They work hard to make the grades so that they can play on the team. I would love to help support the coach and team by providing them with more supplies.
