This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my school are SCHOLARS! They strive every day to be better than the day before. Math is an exciting subject for them full of excitement. My students deserve the necessary math manipulatives to help them grow and show their learning to their classmates which builds confidence and self-esteem.
Creating math tool kits creates excitement and ownership over their learning!
Having all the tools they need to show their thinking and strengthen their math skills will allow them to reach their goals and beyond! Every student will receive a math tool kit of their own to use during their math lessons!
