Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 1st grade students are eager to read, write and learn. They genuinely love coming to school where they count on their teachers to provide them with the time, love and supplies they need.

My 1st grade class is in need of glue sticks, clipboards, a clipboard holder and individual privacy desk dividers.

These are educational tools that would make a big impact on the everyday lives of my students in the classroom.

My students use glue sticks several times a week and sometimes daily. We use them in almost every subject, including math, reading, art and social studies. It's crazy how many we go through in a year.

My students need clipboards when I have them in a large group on the carpet and we do assignments together. The clipboards give them a hard surface to put their papers on instead of a floppy book or their laps. The clipboard holder will help keep our classroom organized.

And finally, the individual privacy dividers give my students the privacy they need when taking tests. It help keep wondering eyes focused on their own test so that I am able to get an accurate idea of what my student's know and still need to work on.

Mrs. Ipsa will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 1.
