My Students

I am a special education teacher who helps students with special needs such as learning disabilities, autism, speech impairments, and other health impairments. They also have sensory needs. They are hard workers, and it is fun to see their progress.

Help me give my students tools to be successful.

They have a diverse array of strengths and needs. I pull groups during the day along with two part-time aides. Help these students to succeed by providing tools they need to access the general education curriculum..

My Project

My students have mild to moderate disabilities such as learning disabilities, autism, speech language impairments and other health impairments. We pull small groups in a room. Sometimes we have three groups at a time and the student's have trouble concentrating because of the noise. The earphones help with noise and sensory issues.

These tools help students to be successful.

They become distracted by noise and other students in the classroom while they are receiving instruction from the teacher who is providing direct instruction to the small group. The pencil grips help those students with fine motor difficulties. The tools will help.
