Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project will provide essential classroom supplies for students at a Title I school. The headphones with microphones will support technology-based learning, while LCD writing tablets will encourage engagement and creativity. Pencils, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, cardstock, and art supplies will help students complete daily assignments and projects. A laminating machine and laminating sheets will allow me to create durable learning materials for repeated use. Storage pouches and pencil boxes will keep supplies organized, and student rewards will help encourage positive behavior, motivation, and academic success throughout the school year.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
