Tools to Calm Our Minds

Help me give my students the materials they need for soft starts and our calm down corner.

My Project

My kindergartners are learning how to control their big emotions. Some ways I have supported them is by offering soft starts in the morning. During this time they choose a quiet brain building activity to work on at their seats. The stacking rocks and magnetic builders will help me give my students more choices in the morning.

The calm down corner is used by all students in my class.

With this project I am able to provide my students with more tools to help get them in a headspace where they are ready to learn. The calm down corner has been a great way to help my students reset.
