My Project

My goal for this project is to provide my students with tools to accelerate their learning success within my classroom such as math manipulatives, a rug to provide them with a space to work collaboratively during math, clipboards to use while on the rug, folders, and notebooks, along with pencils and erasers.

Currently, my students have limited space to collaborate outside of being at their desks.

By having a rug in my room with clipboards available for use, they could bring their work to an open space where they can work collaboratively with their peers. My students would greatly benefit from having more math manipulatives to help increase their understanding of our current unit on fractions.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
