Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help us have a good day every day. My students often come to school without the basic tools they need to succeed. Pencils and dry erase markers are tools my students use everyday during independent work and center time.
My students are 27 first graders who are taking their first steps to learning.
They are enthusiastic little sponges who attend a public school in Illinois. Many days precious classroom instructional minutes are taken up by students looking for pencils or markers to complete their assignments.
My Project
My students come from low income homes where money for just the basics is a struggle for parents. With your help they will have the needed tools to have a successful day. It would be wonderful not stopping during the middle of instruction to get a student a pencil or dry erase marker.
Making a donation to this project will make an impact on my students every day!
Your help will give my students the very basic tool of pencils. You will also support the need to be "green" by providing markers and erasers for our dry erase boards and centers. that we currently use.
