My Project

Hello! I have the honor to work with students who have a variety of special needs. Many of my students have trauma and are working through navigating life with the impact this leaves in their daily life interactions. My focus is to help them learn strategies to self-regulate & focus on their character/behavior, with the goal of building towards growth in their interpersonal skills and academic success. With these tools, I will be able to continue to build a warm and welcoming environment where they can feel safe & have their needs met. Students will be able to use some of these items to help calm themselves to be ready to learn and effectively communicate. Some tools will be used as reinforcements that will help motivate them to work towards a reward. Thank you so much for your consideration.
