My Project
In my classroom, I use guided instruction (or small group instruction) to teach math. I have found it to be very effective, as I am better able to meet my students' needs.
These tools will help me to deliver highly effective instruction in a small group setting, and encourage my students to improve their math skills through exciting centers.
A tabletop learning easel and magnetic manipulatives - base ten magnets, fraction tile magnets, and magnetic two-color counters - will help to make my math instruction more effective. While I meet with my small groups, it is important that the rest of the class is engaged in independent or group activities that are engaging and will further their learning. Dice and playing pieces for games, as well as multiplication wrap-ups, are essential components to these exciting centers.
