Our school is located in mid-St. Louis county. The surrounding community and the students that we serve come from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
The students in my class are outgoing, enthusiastic learners with big hearts and so much potential.
As their teacher, I strive to provide my students with the very best, because they deserve nothing less. With resources funded by donors like you, I hope to furnish a comfortable learning environment and create exciting learning opportunities that motivate and encourage my community of learners.
My Project
I would love to have a mail center to help my students learn responsibility and stay organized. So much of our class time is lost in transitions and searching for materials.
Shelf organizers would help my students learn valuable organizational skills.
It would also significantly increase the amount of time that we have for instruction by decreasing the time we take to transition between subjects and search for materials. These shelf-organizers will provide my students with a central location to store paper materials.
Additionally, I have requested some school supplies (pencils, erasers) as we are low on materials.
A cluttered desk is a cluttered mind...and my students' desks are very cluttered. This project will make all the difference.
