My Project

This project will directly impact my 5th graders by giving them spaces to think together and take care of themselves. Whiteboards placed around the room will encourage collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving as students work through math strategies, plan writing, and share ideas with confidence. These tools such as the dry erase board help make learning active and inclusive, allowing every student to participate and see their thinking come to life.

The cozy calm corner will support students’ social-emotional growth by giving them a safe space to pause, regulate their emotions, and return to learning feeling grounded.

When students feel supported both academically and emotionally, they are better able to focus, take risks, and grow. Your support helps create a classroom where 5th graders feel empowered, valued, and ready to learn every day.
