Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My third graders are curious, resilient, and eager to learn. They bring diverse experiences to our classroom and thrive when given meaningful opportunities to explore and grow as readers and thinkers.

Building background knowledge is essential for my students.

Many need hands-on experiences and engaging resources before diving into language arts lessons. These materials will help them connect to new concepts, develop vocabulary, and truly understand what they read.

With these resources, my students will become more confident learners. They will be better prepared to engage in discussions, make connections, and grow into strong, independent readers.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
