it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of aspiring, young thespians who have learned that “the show must go on.” In the world of Covid, my students' learned that "the show must go online." We all share the common mission to grow our theatre program, increase the quality of our performances, and create a community that loves the arts.
My students are so committed to the work and collaboration they do.
There is really no business like show business.
My students are courteous, committed, helpful, and safe. I feel that they are also some of the most deserving. Please show my students that our society values the arts.
My Project
My technical theatre students spend a lot of time in the sound and lighting booth especially during shows. They not only work the theatre shows, they also do lighting and sound for dance, choir, and band.
These stools will help replace the old ones that are falling apart and allow for my students to sit comfortably for a long period of time as they work shows for our entire Performing Visual Arts department.
Due to their commitment to all of the shows at our school, I hope we can get these stools funded so that the students can properly see the performances from the booth and focus on what's important: learning and practicing running sound and lights for shows.
