My Project

My Kindergarten class loves to hear stories and be read to. The last two years, my students have fallen in love with our Tonie box. The Tonie box is screen-free technology that allows students to hear and story and use their imagination. During independent centers, students beg to use the Tonie box and listen to interactive stories read to them. They love that they can use it independently by placing the magnetic character on the top. Many will choose to do the Tonie box over playing with toys. I love that students can hear interactive stories read to them while I'm working with small groups on literacy skills. It helps my students with listening skills, comprehension, and language development. I would love to get another Tonie box for the students so more students can have the opportunity to use it.

Please help me give my students another Tonie box so that more students can have access to interactive stories.

I would also like to add more Tonie characters so students can choose which stories and songs they want to listen to. This will help them with their early literacy skills and comprehension.
