My Project

Every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of reading, but finding books that capture the interest of students across grades K-8 can be a challenge. Our school library serves students with a wide range of reading abilities, interests, and learning styles, and I am always looking for new ways to make reading engaging, interactive, and accessible for everyone.

With the addition of Tonieboxes and Tonie audio book characters, students will be able to experience stories in a whole new way.

These screen-free listening devices allow children to independently explore books, develop listening comprehension skills, and build a love of literature through engaging storytelling. Tonies are especially beneficial for emerging readers, multilingual learners, struggling readers, and students who simply enjoy hearing stories come to life.

By adding Tonieboxes and Tonie Books to our library collection, students will have access to beloved stories, educational content, and diverse characters that encourage imagination, creativity, and literacy growth. These resources can be used during library visits, independent reading time, makerspace activities, and literacy centers, creating opportunities for students to connect with books in meaningful ways.
