Help me give my students an extra copy of all the Unit 1 Together in Our Community read aloud books for our class library. So excited to have extra copies in students hands.
My students are four and five years old. In their first year of elementary school excited to learn new things and make discoveries. They are beginning to build the foundation for all learning as they play, learn how to solve problems and begin to look at and read books. They love books! In the block area there are books on building. The math area has counting books. In dramatic play which is a woodland has both fiction and nonfiction books available for children to look at as they pretend to be animals. Their favorite activities are looking at the books we read with a friend or making their own books.
Prior to writing this project, I was filling my Amazon cart with these books and contemplating purchasing copies for next year.
Since my school is beginning a new curriculum for my students in the fall, and I wanted to ensure my students have an extra copy of these books. This project will make it possible for our classroom to have an additional copy of these books. It will also make it possible for more children to look at the book simultaneously or have a book available at a center.
