Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are excited about setting and achieving personal goals. They work hard each day to meet their own academic and behavioral goals. I would like to reward them for their hard work by giving them inspirational charms (Toe Tokens) to collect and necklaces to display their achievements.

Toe tokens are a classroom incentive system that is used to encourage, promote, and celebrate positive behavior.

This program started with promoting healthy habits and active students. The program has reached into the classroom experience and now offers incentives based on academics and citizenship.

I am requesting ball chains for each student and 1"-2" plastic charms that incentivize students to make good choices, promote kindness, reach for academic goals, and increase opportunities to show responsible decision making.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
