My Project

Here at Moore, we are really encouraging literacy time for early ages. Literacy is the driving force for education. At Moore Elementary, many students come from high poverty areas with no resources. We are implementing reading corners and activity time.

With these specific items, it will allow students to have fun while reading everyday.

Students will read stories and make crafts based on the literature that they read.

This project is important because we are a Title 1 school, in a high poverty area and lack many reading resources. This allows us to bring in outside resources, toddlers from other areas and encourage these students to love reading!
