Help me give my students leveled readers. My higher readers read on a level J/K. I do not have readers for them, at their levels and I definitely do not have anywhere for them to move up to.

My Students

My students light up my world, and they can light yours too. Amazing things happen in my room. My students learn so much in my classroom. They learn sight words. They cook food. They learn to work independently both in academics and vocational settings.

They are so special to me because you see the learning taking place in their eyes every day.

One of my students has learned to read half of the pre-primer sight words and level B books. Three of my students work on a third-grade math level every day. My students can even clean windows independently each week.

My Project

My higher readers can read on level J/K. They do not have many leveled readers to choose from in my classroom, and what's more, they have nowhere to move up to. They are very special children with so much to offer the world and their communities, and they deserve the chance to reach their full potential and go as far as they can.

Having these leveled readers available to my higher students would be a blessing as it would be something that is available for them to strive for during the reading period and beyond!
