I have about 15 special education/resource kiddos who need to practice taking their STAAR tests online using the text-to-speech, content support, and language and vocabulary support features in order for each student to get a fair shake in April. At the moment, I have two computers available for all the students to practice on. While this is not sufficient, we are prepared to deal with this dilemma by starting early so that every student gets many chances to practice. Having more opportunities for each student to practice taking their STAAR test properly will lessen the blow and is sure to help each of my students succeed.
