My Project
My classroom library has seen better days! This is my 16th year teaching and I need to rebuild my classroom library. Many of my books have been "loved to death!" Which is FANTASTIC! But, it also means my current students have less books to choose from to ignite their love of reading. Building a class library that instills a love of reading means having many different genres and levels of books for my students to choose from. My goal is for my students to become excited about reading, for them to not be able to put their books down (even when I'm teaching math!), and to know they can go to our class library and find another book that will interest them just as much as their last book! It is a fact that finding the perfect books at an early age will develop students into readers for life. Getting your help now will allow me to build our class library, making it possible for students to choose books they find exciting and want to read! Thank you so much for your help!
