My students need 15 ink jet color printer cartridges to be able to print color pictures of their work, as well as create colorful materials for their center time play. Our ink keeps running out. Please help!
My Pre K students (ages 3-5 years old) love to learn and are eager to explore in new centers every day. Our classroom is designed to allow children to freely explore a variety of centers and be as creative as they choose to promote their learning process. Throughout their day, the children have opportunities to work alone, with a partner and in small groups.
We have a very smart and well behaved class but parent participation is lacking.
Many of the children do not have support from their parents, which makes home projects difficult. Often, our kids rely on us to help them finish work that was meant do be done at home.
Because the children are so engaged and proud to share their hard work, we take a ton of pictures. We have created a library of pictures so the children can learn new words, and remember those words from past units. Through this, they are beginning to learn their letters and sounds.
My Project
I take hundreds of pictures each month to capture the learning moments for each child. Often we like to print these pictures to add to our centers or highlight great work.
Unfortunately, we run out of ink so quickly and my school will no longer replace the cartridges.
It would be so wonderful if the children could begin to learn how to complete research projects and be able to print their results right away. Having ink for our printer would also allow us to create special props and games for the centers and help create memory books for the children to record their first year in school.
