My Students

My students are curious and creative learners from rural West Virginia. Many are from families with low socioeconomic status, and they rely on public education as their primary means of support and encouragement. We work hard to overcome many obstacles in order to create a positive, student-centered learning environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration!

My students are thinkers, writers, readers, mathematicians, scientists, and artists.

They are inquisitive, persistent, and ready to overcome any hurdles that they may face in order to become successful!

My Project

With so much help from Donors Choose and our community, we have built a small set of classroom iPads! We use them daily, which means they need charged often, and there are cords everywhere! We are quickly running out of outlets and need a better, safer option to charge our iPads!

A charging cabinet and cases would help us charge our devices and keep them safe and organized!

Being able to lock the cabinet when they are not in use will help prevent theft or loss. It will also keep them in one place, which will help with organization! Right now, they are charging all over the room, which makes it difficult for students to access them independently. We have worked so hard to build our set of iPads, so keeping them safe is crucial!
