My Students

I teach in a small, rural town in Eastern, CT. Our school is Pre K-4 with about 370 students. Our town has many farms and open areas.

My kindergarteners come to school each day excited to see what is in store for the day and ready to learn.

With such young students, for many of them, this is their first experience with formal schooling. At such a young age, my students are eager to learn and do their best!

My Kindergarteners make an incredible amount of progress in the short span of a school year! As learners, they work hard every day to grow and learn both academically and socially! My students are dedicated and motivated young students that are eager to learn!

My Project

My Kindergarteners make so much growth throughout our school year in all subject areas! Math and Reading are two major parts of our day filled with lots of learning! My students enjoy taking part in reading and math centers daily, as it gives them a time to learn and practice new skills in a fun and engaging way!

At such a young age, my students learn best through play and hands-on activities!

Academic centers help to reach all my students, and give them an opportunity to learn independently! These new centers will be an incredible addition to our Kindergarten classroom, and continue to support student learning through engaging activities!
