This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing, intelligent four to five year olds, who are creative and curious about the world around them. They are part of a program called Transitional Kindergarten, a two year Kindergarten program. They attend a low, income inner city school with 100% of our students receiving free and reduced lunch. My class is composed of a high level of English Language Learners, and we also have different cultures and backgrounds.
The science resources and tools will help young scientist learn about climate change, weather and the water cycle.
The goal for this project is to have my student meet standards based on earth science for Learning Foundations and Learning Framework.
