Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are having an A-Z countdown to complete our school year. Each day, children will be doing an activity focusing on our letter of the day. Students have been learning the letters of the alphabet this year and this is a great way to extend what we learned in TK.

Bridging what we learned all year and tying it together with the A through Z countdown is a great way for our students to connect what they learned with something new and exciting!

We need a few items to complete three of our special activities. We will need leis for our Hawaiian day and we are also going to learn how to do the hula. In addition, for the letter C, we need chalk. Each class will work together to make a mosaic with the chalk. S is for sunglasses. Many of our families are unable to provide these materials and with your support, each child will get their own pair to keep as we enter the Summer season.
