This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Science allows for young children to explore, experiment and better understand the world around them. We will be learning about insects this Spring. The items listed will allow for TK students to view what insects look like. The materials will also allow for them to understand life cycles and create their own insects as well.

Young children need experiences that allow them to actively explore the world scientifically.

Currently, my students love to find bugs in nature around our school campus. These materials will help further their knowledge and understanding of the insects we live with.
