Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I get ready to meet my new group of students, I’m filled with excitement and hope for the year ahead. I may not know them yet, but I already know they will come into the classroom with unique personalities, strengths, and dreams. My goal is to create a space where they feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to learn from day one.

This project will help me build that kind of classroom environment.

I’ve selected a variety of motivational prizes like plush dinosaur toys, fun erasers, and dinosaur-themed treasures to match our classroom theme and spark excitement. These items will be used as part of our treasure box to celebrate positive behavior, academic effort, and classroom participation. It’s a simple way to show students that their hard work matters and that learning can be fun and rewarding. I have also added items that will be helpful materials during small group such as the recording buttons and laminating sheets.

Your support helps me lay the foundation for a joyful and encouraging classroom culture. Even before the first day of school, you are making an impact by helping me prepare a space where students will feel motivated and celebrated. Thank you for investing in our classroom community.
