Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Living in the Midwest means many freezing cold days resulting in weather that is much too cold for students to go outside for recess! As we have started having more and more indoor recess days, I have been printing coloring pages or word searches for my students but they have expressed to me that they would like some games to play so that they can enjoy their recess more.

My students have been spending the majority of their recesses lately inside our classroom, and I am looking to provide them with games that they can play to stimulate their minds and promote communication skills.

I know that recess is such an important part of their day and I want them to be able to relax, socialize, and enjoy that break so that they can be ready for afternoon learning!
