Tinker's Leaders Use Virtual Reality to Draw Three Dimensionally!
My students need a virtual reality headset so that they can draw three dimensionally and start learning how to use technology as early as possible. If they do not, they are already behind in today's world.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are the best example of future leaders individually and throughout their future careers. We are in need of funding since the county gives our ever so deserving students only $1/per student. And that is simply not enough for the art program I can imagine... Tinker students are from all over the U.S. They travel constantly as it is a military school. The students are very deserving of materials to help them become more excited about learning. Every day they strive to help with tasks large and small in the art room.
My Project
This virtual reality system will make a HUGE difference in the life of my students by starting them young with technology. If they do not start young, when they get to the real world they will already be behind. What I want the students to achieve is the creation of a 3D drawing. Many design companies use this technology already. I would like to prepare my students for the real world by getting them accustomed to technology. Using new technology is similar to riding a bike. They may have trouble adjusting at first but they will eventually feel as though it is second nature.
