Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse group of learners, including newcomers who are eager to build essential skills like telling time. I also have a dedicated group of yearbook students who work hard to document school memories through photography. To support both groups, we need tools that enhance learning and creativity.

For my newcomer students, learning to tell time is an important life skill.

A wall clock, digital wall clock, and a clock rug will provide multiple ways for them to practice reading both analog and digital time. The clock rug will create a hands-on, engaging space for interactive lessons that reinforce these essential skills.

In addition, my yearbook students need a camera lens to capture high-quality photos of school events, student achievements, and everyday moments that make our school community special. With an upgraded lens, they can take clearer, more professional images that will help preserve memories for years to come.

These resources will help my students in two meaningful ways—by building confidence in reading time and by fostering creativity through photography. Your support will make a lasting impact on both learning and school spirit, ensuring that students have the tools they need to succeed.
